Akeem “Ali” Gives A Smooth Soul Sound With A Twist Of Hip-Hop In “Keemy Casanova”

The 1970s were known for afros, platforms, and, most of all, the power of soul. However, this artist gives a soft groove as he taps into the hip hop genre to create his authentic sound.

Mississippi native, Akeem “Ali” Thomas has been the topic on social media as his video to his single “Keemy Casanova”. On the other hand, he has caught the attention of several well known entertainers such as hip-hop legend, Snoop Dogg.

Thomas’s two-minute and the fourteen-second song was captured by Kelton McMillion, with over 83,000 views on Instagram and over 1,000,000 views on Facebook. Thomas’s video seems to be influenced by movies like “Black Dynamite” and even “Coffy.”
