Ricco Barrino Shares Lyric Video For Heartfelt Single: “You Let Me Down”

R&B artist, Ricco Barrino prepares his long-awaited return to the spotlight with new music. After contributing vocals to hits such as, T.I.’s chart-topping “Whatever You Like”, Colonel Loud’s “California”, and co-writing his younger sister Fantasia’s platinum selling debut album Free Yourself, the former Grand Hustle signee shares the lyric video for his single “You Let Me Down”.

This song came from a time in my life where my world shattered. I lost my grandmother, as well as the one I thought was the love of my life.

High Point, North Carolina native Ricco, got his start leading the choir for his family church and turned to open mics and talent shows as he grew older. After his younger sister Fantasia’s 2004 American Idol win, Ricco would go on the road as Fantasia’s Music Director. Developing strong relationships along the way, Ricco eventually signed to rapper T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint. When things came to a halt following T.I.’s jail time, Ricco was left to fend for himself.

Ricco and his longtime friend and industry exec Waleed Coyote released a string of regional hits until one took off, “California” and experienced instant success. Now Ricco is back with a vengeance and promising vocals on “You Let Me Down”

“You Let Me Down”, is the lead single from Ricco’s new GOOD EP released August 6th, 2020. The project is the first installment of a trilogy of EPs containing previously unreleased work and guest features from Blacc Zacc, Da Baby and others. The Five-track GOOD EP features the Fantasia-assisted “Serious”, along with “You Showed Me Love”

The next 2 installments in the series BAD and UGLY are out August 20th and September 3rd
