Talented Philly-bred singer, Terrell Mackey, is back with his first visual of the new year. Coining the genre “Future Funk”, Terrell is aiming to bridge the gap between generations by infusing his classic timeless vibe with modern day production.
In 2019 Mackey released 3 songs independently which has organically grown his listenership from 5,000 monthly listeners to 85,000 monthly listeners. Looking to build off that moment gained last year, Mackey releases his first visual of the year “My Way”.
Produced by Mackey himself, My Way is about the search to find peace and love while dealing with the doubt if both these things can coexist.
The Samuel Crafer directed visual finds Terrell by himself pondering those thoughts in a series of neon lit rooms. Terrell even channels his inner Chris Breezy and pulls off some dance moves throughout the video.
